Turkish Psychological Association

Turkish Psychological Association (TPA) was founded in 1976 and has approximately 1200 members from all over the country. Its membership includes psychologists working in different applied settings and in various universities.

Turkish Psychological Association Ethics Code

Turkish Psychological Association’s ethics code was developed in order to identify the standards for the profession and field of psychology and to apply and maintain these standards in the highest level.

The history of Turkish psychologists within professional organizations dates back to 1956 when a group of academicians founded the first “Turkish Psychological Association” in Istanbul, which lasted until 1996.
